I had stumbled upon Kenneth's photography website when I was in search pretty much at the last minute for our wedding photographer. His work stood out to me almost immediately. There is such rawness and honesty in his work, it was hard to not connect with it. It was only after meeting with him that I understood why his work appeared the way it did, for he was such a person himself too - really sincere, genuine, down-to-earth, unpretentious.

At the end of the church ceremony, Kenneth requested for a private moment with us and when asked if we should be going anywhere, he replied that there was this corner at the staircase that he thought was nice. We all pointed towards the staircase near the entrance of the church but he said it was not it. Turns out that he had skimmed through the entire place earlier in the morning before the ceremony began and found this little window by a stairway none of us knew of, where the natural light shone through beautifully. It was there that I had one of my favourite moments of the day. He facilitated the photo-taking by asking my husband and I to reflect on the day's happenings and said that these memories will just get less vivid with the passing of time, hence the best gift he could give us was to crystallize this moment in the form of a picture so that we could at least remember how we felt in that moment when we look back in years to come. Needless to say, the shots taken in that moment turned out to be my favourites.

Kenneth turned up earlier and left later than the agreed time. He wasn't calculative in that way and helped us with taking more photos with our friends and family. He is so easy-going and comfortable to be with, many of our friends and family had asked if he was our friend. Our only regret is not catching him for a proper goodbye and to thank him for his service for the day.

Thank you, Kenneth :) You are one heck of a photographer and a wonderful wonderful person to be with. The world needs to know you!

Kenneth's photos really resonated with us as we were looking for potential photographers for our pre-wedding photoshoot, and after visiting his website, we realised that he had previously shot for a few friends of ours!

Before contacting him, we had been entertaining the thought of going to Iceland for a holiday and have our prewedding photographs taken there at the same time, and it was quite serendipitous that Kenneth was not only keen on travelling to Iceland, he would also be available during the time that we had managed to secure our leave. His nature-centric photography definitely seemed ideal for a place like Iceland with its otherworldly landscapes and rugged beauty, and we were repeatedly reassured by our friends that we would be in good hands, so it was easy deciding that we would like to work with him.

Throughout the entire planning process, Kenneth was extremely easy-going and prompt in addressing our various queries. We met up once to discuss the trip and although it would also be his first time in Iceland, he had already done ample research and showed us various places which he thought would be ideal to shoot at.

When the trip finally arrived, we were initially apprehensive about how our photos would turn out/whether we would look awkward as posing definitely didn't come naturally to us and we are not the most intrinsically romantic couple around. But our fears were quickly allayed as Kenneth patiently directed us through each shoot with the right balance of instructing us how/where we should stand/place our hands and still allowing us the flexibility to move and interact with each other naturally.

Capturing raw emotions and not just poses in a photograph is no easy feat, but Kenneth managed to do so by asking us a number of choice questions about each other during the shoot which not only resulted in better photos, but really enriched the whole experience for the both of us.

From the start, we had already eschewed the conventional bridal studio photoshoot style of photographs consisting of pose after pose or overly dramatic flair, and preferred photographs which would capture our relationship in its truest and most honest form. We communicated this to Kenneth prior who delivered spectacularly and quietly took photos of us not only amongst the vast lupine fields or black sand beaches, but even as we were simply walking down the streets of Reykjavik or filling up our car at the gas station.

The photoshoot spanned a tiring 4 nights consisting of hours of driving and plenty of hiking, most of the time in freezing cold winds, yet Kenneth worked tirelessly without a single word of complaint, sometimes even positioning himself precariously just to get the best angle.

The result of all the above was photos which managed to perfectly showcase the beauty of the Icelandic landscape without it overwhelming the much less spectacular human subjects (us), photos which were quietly sentimental, which captured our natural interaction and emotions, and which we will treasure for many many years to come.

We would highly recommend Kenneth to couples who appreciate the gentle, quiet beauty of his photographs, and who are looking to capture genuine and timeless snapshots of their relationship which will transcend a wedding celebration and serve as beautiful keepsakes for a lifetime.

My husband and I met Kenneth in person, after viewing Kenneth's portfolio online. He struck us as a very earnest and sincere guy. We could see his character in the photos they took. His photos were sentimental, and had a depth of emotion that we really connected to.

For the pre wedding photoshoot, Kenneth gave us a wide selection of places to choose from, all of which were very beautiful. He made the photoshoot very natural and my husband and I felt very at ease. Kenneth was very patient with throughout, and reassuring us that we were doing fine. When we didn't know what to do, Kenneth gave clear instructions. The light showers might have made our clothes damp, but it definitely didn't dampen our spirits.

For our Bali wedding and Singapore banquet, Kenneth was very professional. He has this quiet presence about him, which is a wonderful quality for a photographer to have. He doesn't impose but yet he captures every single moment. He is really the best at what he does.

All the photos that Kenneth took of us, our guests and the wedding, captured the emotions of the moment perfectly. I can look at each photo and relive the feelings I felt on that special day. And to me, that makes each picture perfect.

Our friends and family were extremely impressed with the pictures and kept singing praises about Kenneth.

I don't think anyone could have done as good a job as Kenneth did. It was a joy working with him and wouldn't recommend any other wedding photographer other than Kenneth.
