I have always loved the idea of traveling to avoid the crowds and voices. When you travel this far away from home you search for a form of temporary escape in the middle of a strange landscape. For us the landscape revealed itself when we dug hard beneath the cover of whitewashed villages and it’s travelers. It’s easy to love this place when the light is low and when you are alone. If you are lucky you stumble upon moments like this when you stare out into a past and your life plays like an old movie, slowly filling you with so much joy and complex emotions. I can’t speak for them but I hope they felt it too.
